Learn Through My Experience How to Navigate Incurable Cancer

About Me

Hello, my name is Laurie Kahn and this is my journey. All I can do is share what it was like to walk in my own shoes. I am happy to share my thoughts, experiences and opinions.  Each one of us is different. My approach here is much more targeted at those of us who are terminal without a long life expectancy. If I can help with your journey, or those of you who have someone you care about going through cancer, this may assist you in knowing how to best be there for them. If I have offered any help, then I am a happy camper.  This is a compilation of my stories, my chronological journey and includes tips on how to talk to those who are ill, ideas of gifts, tips on how to navigate the doctors with good questions to ask and basically what your journey could look like. I had no idea on what to expect so much is coming as a surprise to me.

If you have recently been diagnosed or love someone who has, get ready to be on a roller-coaster. Incredible lows and highs, fast and unexpected curves, changes of speed, possible shortness of breath. Metastatic or other non-curable diseases can change on a dime. Be flexible and take it as it comes.
